Our Lab Successfully Organized the International Conference on Smart Breeding for Sustainable Agriculture
We are proud to announce the successful completion of the International Conference on Smart Breeding for Sustainable Agriculture, organized by our lab on December 4, 2024. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Li Lin (Huazhong Agricultural University, China) and co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Xingming Fan (Institute of Food Crops, Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences), the event brought together leading experts from China, Thailand, Laos, Pakistan, and the USA. The conference fostered meaningful collaboration among these nations, encouraging the exchange of ideas and strategies in smart breeding research. Key discussions included novel breeding technologies, tropical maize optimization, and precision breeding with big data, all aimed at advancing food security, climate resilience, and agricultural productivity. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all speakers and attendees for their contributions and for laying the groundwork for future international collaborations in sustainable agriculture!
