On January 7, 2025, our lab organized an insightful seminar titled "The Publishing Process and How to Gain Visibility in Your Community," featuring Dr. Jared Fudge. Dr. Fudge, with an MSc in plant science from the University of Otago, New Zealand, and a PhD from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, shared his expertise on effective publishing strategies. Drawing from his experience in biofortifying rice and cassava at ETH Zurich, as well as his editorial roles at Current Biology (Cell Press) and Nature Biotechnology (Nature Portfolio), he provided valuable guidance on increasing research visibility. Held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, the seminar inspired attendees to enhance their impact in the scientific community.
